It suddenly occurred to me that I haven't made a journal entry in over a year.

I'll be uploading a bunch of stuff soon and overhauling the gallery to be organized in a way that actually makes sense.  There's a lot of my stuff that I never dragged over from my old account, and the way this account is organized right now is pretty non-functional.  So, working on fixing that!

Just for clarification, this was intended as an account for both myself (Chrissy) and my fiance (Galway), but I'm the only one that actively uses it.  Some of his work should be appearing on here eventually, but it's primarily my stuff and I'm the one you'll be talking to unless otherwise noted.  Sorry if that's confused anyone.

I also now have premium status for once (edit: Oh man, I have journal skins. Check out the pretty.)  I have to say, I love dA for this give-a-premium-subscription-and-get-one thing.  I've never had one before--never really saw the point, actually--but then I was trying to come up with gifts for a couple of friends and saw that promotion and was like "Hey, that's an idea!"  So hopefully it'll be useful for the people I sent them to.

Not really sure what else there is to say, so I guess I'll wrap it up there.

...I'm totally not sure what clubs I'm even officially in anymore, it's been so long.  Will update when I have a better idea.

Nevermind...

I just joined this Santa's Elves group. Basically they gathered people to make sketches for under-noticed members of the dA community to keep them from feeling left out come Christmas time. If you have the time to do a few sketches, or you need the love, or if you support the cause and want to put a link in your own journal, check it out!

They apparently had a quota on good-doers, thus I am not one. =/ Does that seem right to you?

I made this account originally to house pictures made collaboratively between my fiance and myself, but since separating collabortive works was a bit of a confusing hassle and as we move into the world of very nice camera (we recently bought a Sony Alpha 350 that should be arriving today-- I'm excited) he will be doing more art himself, I realized it would be easier to gather everything into the collective account.  I will of course make note of who produced the work when I post them so that the correct person gets credit for it.

In short, from now on, things I would have posted on jiangling will be posted on here, so if you had been watching jiangling please watch this account as well.  Most things on the old account will not be moved over to here so if you want to see works I had posted previously please look at my other account.  I should have more work up here soon, so keep an eye out!  Meanwhile I will be working on friending all the people I had been watching on my other account.
